1. MISSION & SCOPE
Pulse 5 (the "App") is a hyper-local anonymous network engineered for adults (18+). Our protocol is designed to provide localized interaction within a 5km radius while maintaining a layer of identity masking. By using Pulse 5, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. AGE RESTRICTION (STRICT 18+)
Pulse 5 is strictly prohibited for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we discover a minor has bypassed our security protocols to create a Ghost ID, all associated data will be permanently terminated immediately.
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To provide a secure and rewarding ecosystem, we collect:
Account Data: Email address and encrypted password for account persistence and Ghost Identity recovery.
Identification: Unique Device ID (UUID/Android ID) to prevent duplicate accounts and ensure legal accountability in case of system abuse.
Location Data: Approximate GPS coordinates to calculate a 5-character Geohash. We do not store your exact street address; we only index your presence within a 5km radius to sync you with nearby pulses.
Referral Data: Referral codes and point balances to manage our "Refer & Earn" rewards system.
4. THE DATA EVAPORATION PROTOCOL (12:00 AM WIPEOUT)
Our core philosophy is ephemerality.
Public Data: All Gossips, Radar alerts, and SOS broadcasts are permanently deleted from our primary databases every day at 12:00 AM (local server time).
Private Chats: All Phantom Chats vanish exactly 10 minutes after initiation.
What Remains: Your profile (Pseudo Name, Bio, Referral Points, and Following list) is persistent until you choose to delete your account.
5. WHY WE REQUIRE REGISTRATION
While the frontend experience is anonymous, we require registration via email and Device ID for:
Referral Integrity: To ensure rewards are credited to real users and prevent bot farming.
Community Safety: To allow users to Block/Report abusers effectively.
Ghost Identity: To let you maintain your Karma and Streaks across app reinstalls.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & ADS
We use industry-standard providers to sustain our zero-cost backend:
Firebase (Google): For secure authentication and real-time database management.
Google AdMob: To display personalized and non-personalized advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve ads relevant to your interests.
FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging): To deliver "Smart Pulse" notifications regarding local activity.
7. DATA SECURITY & ANTI-SCREENSHOT
We implement the FLAG_SECURE protocol to prevent unauthorized screen captures. While we mask your identity from peers, we log hardware identifiers silently. This is a mandatory compliance feature to cooperate with cyber-law enforcement in the event of illegal threats or criminal activity.
8. YOUR GLOBAL RIGHTS (GDPR & CCPA COMPLIANCE)
Regardless of your country, you have the right to:
Access: View your persistent profile data.
Erasure: Delete your Ghost ID and all associated data via the app settings.
Opt-out: Manage ad personalization through your device’s Google settings.
